Laichmoray Hotel - Elgin

Plenty of supplies in the room: a flat-screen TV, ironing facilities and a writing desk.

Its marvellous, central location was a plus.

The property is pleasant and the staff is patient. Make sure to get suite with 2 single beds, an excellent shower, a nicer bathroom. There is variety of fabulous food for breakfast. The location is peaceful, 2 km from Moray Motor Museum.

Stayed for a night n it was great. Room was clean n comfy, liked the whisky bar with lots of choices. The staff were super nice, helped me with breakfast when I had to leave early. The location is perfect, right near the train station!

The stairs were a bit of a hassle with luggage. The room felt a lil dated but not a big deal.

A gorgeous hotel with plenty of airy rooms to relax in. Good breakfast by a very pleasant waitress. Pleasant and consistently courteous staff during my stay. Favourable, excellent location on local horse riding schools. Based so close to pubs as well as a well spaced out, pleasant restaurant.

There was no elevator.

The Laichmoray Hotel in Elgin captivated me with its charming atmosphere and friendly staff. Although the room had some noise issues, the delicious breakfast and excellent whisky bar more than made up for it. I enjoyed a lovely stay and appreciate the convenient location near the train station.

The downtown is within 10 minutes' walk.

Friendly staff made our stay enjoyable, but room decor felt outdated.

My children wished for a kids' menu at breakfast.

Centrally located with a beautiful garden to unwind. Loved the cocktails at the bar-must try the Blood orange and ginger Margarita!

A very warm welcome from the staff upon arrival set the tone for a pleasant stay. The spacious and immaculate double room featured both a bath and a walk-in shower. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a special request honored. The location offers convenient access to the railway station. It was sometimes difficult to locate the hotel initially, and the electric car charging points were not utilized .

The Laichmoray Hotel in Elgin offered a wonderful stay. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely deep bath. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. It had a variety of options, and the food was delicious. The quality of the meals, both for dinner and breakfast, impressed me. The staff were friendly and cute, always ready to help with anything I needed. There was a small inconvenience with the room's stairs. I noticed that the breakfast ordering system was a bit odd, as I had to place my order the night before. Strongly recommend if you're in the area!

I had a lovely one-night stay while passing through Elgin, and the staff really made it memorable. The food was fantastic, especially breakfast, and the service was top-notch. I appreciated that they prepared breakfast rolls for my early departure. My room was simple but impeccably clean and comfortable, making for a restful night before continuing my travels. I also enjoyed the cozy bar area, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

great staff but room could use some updates

The staff were really good. I was particularly impressed when they brought a box of sausages to Reception to check the ingredients, showing their attention to dietary needs.

The room's decor felt dated .
